We all need community and we all want community. Real community is much more than just being a part of the crowd on Tuesday nights at Overflow. This is why we have student-led small groups that meet in different locations on and around campus called Communities.
Our Communities are modeled after the example that is set in Acts 2:44-47, honing in on two key ideas: DIG and DO. Communities meet every week during the semester, alternating between "DIG Weeks" and "DO Weeks."
- DIG WEEKS: We believe it is important to go deeper in our relationships with each other and deeper in our relationship with God. Dig weeks are about reading the Word together and discussing questions that are focused around what we are studying on Tuesday nights.
- DO WEEKS: James 1:22 says, "Do not merely listen to the Word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says." This is what compels our groups to spend time sharing the Gospel on campus or engaging their neighborhoods in service.
